The practice was established in 1986 and is now a highly respected and creative landscape design consultancy.

Barnes Walker Limited is located in South Manchester and currently employs 14 members of staff comprising 1 CABE Enabler, 6 Chartered Members of the Landscape Institute and 4 Licentiates of the Landscape Institute.

Operating throughout the UK, Barnes Walker is a Landscape Institute registered practice offering a full range of landscape architectural services from landscape and visual impact assessments, through masterplanning, to the detailed design of the landscape and it’s long-term maintenance. Of particular value is the practice’s ability to work at different scales from large scale EIA’s and landscape planning in multi-disciplinary situations to the detailed design of small external spaces.

During 23 years of practice, the company has undertaken in excess of 1700 individual projects.
